Oswaldo is the head coach at Jitsu Academy CT.

In 2008, he was promoted to Black Belt by Master André Pederneiras, founder of Nova Uniao, one of the most prestigious Jiu-Jitsu Schools in the world.

Jitsu Academy is a proud Connecticut Affiliate Gym of Nova Uniao. Notable members of Nova Uniao include prominent UFC fighters such as José Aldo, Renan Barão, B.J. Penn, and Junior dos Santos.
