James Quinn

James is the No Gi Instructor at Jitsu Academy CT.  Starting his martial arts journey in youth with karate, boxing, and kickboxing, along with an initial introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he reignited his passion for BJJ in 2017 and has been unwavering in his dedication since.

He views combat sports as one of the purest forms of physical expression, blending practical self-defense skills with the innate human drive for competition.

Professionally, he is a sports nutritionist, specializing in consulting athletes within the combat sports domain.
